Hi Josh from home
These white mounds– is it painted soil? or a covering of lime? or ??
Your picture of kid cleaning ray was excellent.
Went to a classy restaurant in Orleans where I had ray as entree– very nice taste.
Judith is sitting here painting as I wifi from dining room.
Love from us both
Eddie
That’s a good question, soil scientist! Unfortunately I don’t know the answer, as I didn’t examine them up close. Let me know if you ever find out. It’s a bit creepy to me that they create these mounds in the first place – makes you think the bodies are right there on top, and one good rain would expose them. But I’m pretty sure they’re buried.
I don’t believe I’ve ever eaten ray, although it might have been in that seafood stew.
