Typewriter people

Typewriter people

I haven’t figured this one out – there is a line of about a dozen people (vendors) all seated at typewriters. Outside, next to the flower stalls. [Which is not that unusual I suppose - in Panama City there were vendors with copy machines on streetcorners and under trees on the sidewalk. I guess there is enough of a need for quick photocopies that enterprising people buy a machine and just plunk it in the street, no need to have a store.]
Anyway, I don’t know what purpose these typewriter people serve – are they near a government office that requires forms typed out in triplicate, or something?
